Post Wed29Apr15 Hammy Come Back

Ten minutes after take off on the way to the highlands, a 180 kg live pig started to wreck his cage and was working his way out into the cabin.

The single passenger who was sharing the cabin with Hammy made the pilot aware with a vigorous tapping on the shoulder.

A swift RTB (return to base) saw the plane, pilot, passenger and pig on the ground within minutes.

A calm and constructive discussion was had with the carpenter who built the cage, and the pilot suggested the carpenter join us on the next few flights sitting astride his creations.

The carpenter declined citing a fear of flying.
